Hello, I hurt my lower back 8 months ago at the gym and I tried therapeutic massages, chiropractor, and finally I decided to see a medical doctor when my legs are starting to feel a little sore and my lower back felt burning especially when I play volleyball. I was told to get MRI and I got the following results from MRI. Would you please help me to decide whether I should see a specialist or do exercises and let it heal naturally? The following is my MRI:

Hi I did review your concern, Your MRI features are largely normal for any acute concerns. they are though indicative of degenerative disk and joint disease like osteoarthritis or spondyloarthopathy. It requires consultation with a rheumatologist and beginning of proper physiotherapy and rarely medical management in form of glucorticoids. The concern is your disk might bulge and herniate and irritate nerve roots and cause pain and discomfort and weakness in your legs in futur but not of any acute concern. i hope this helps wish you all the best thank you for choosing hcm
